Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 is now available in India. Redmi has introduced its first smart TV powered by Alexa. The 32-inch Redmi smart TV runs on Fire OS and features an HD display. It also supports Dolby Audio and comes with a 20W speaker.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 is priced at Rs 13,999 and can be purchased online through Amazon.in and Mi.com. The sale of the Redmi Smart TV will begin on March 21. The smart TV is currently listed online at Rs 12,999. As an introductory offer, the company is providing a flat discount of Rs 1,000 on the Redmi smart TV. This means that customers can purchase the Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 for Rs 11,999.

Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 specifications

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 features a bezel-less metallic design and a 32-inch HD Ready smart TV with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels. The display offers an auto-low latency mode and a screen-to-body ratio of 96.9%.

The smart TV is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core Cortex A53 processor paired with 1GB of RAM. It has 8GB of internal storage. The Redmi Smart TV 32 runs on Fire OS 7, which allows users to access over 12,000 apps from the Fire TV app store.

The Redmi smart TV integrates live TV from customers’ DTH set-top-box on the home screen, enabling them to switch seamlessly between DTH TV channels and OTT apps without the need to change TV inputs or use a separate remote control. The TV also supports Apple Airplay and Miracast for direct mirroring from Apple and Android smartphones respectively.

The Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 comes with a new remote called the Redmi Voice Remote with Alexa. It is a sleek and minimalistic remote that offers easy navigation and control. The remote includes buttons for TV Guide, playback controls, channel up/down, mute, and shortcuts to popular apps. Users can switch channels, launch apps, and search for titles by pressing and holding the dedicated Alexa button and giving voice commands.

Customers can use Alexa to play music, check the weather, control compatible smart home devices such as bulbs, ACs, and fans, and view live feeds from compatible security cameras by simply saying commands like “Alexa, show me my smart home dashboard,” “Alexa, turn on the lights,” or “Alexa, show my security camera feed.”

The Smart TV is equipped with 20W speakers that are optimized with Dolby Audio technology.
