OnePlus is prepared to expand its smart TV lineup in India. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has announced that it will soon release the OnePlus TV 40 Y1S in the country. The company has also disclosed that the smart TV will be available for purchase in India from April 14. Customers will have the option to buy the smart TV online from Amazon.in, OnePlus.in, and Flipkart. The smart TV will also be sold in physical retail stores authorized by the company in India.

The OnePlus TV 40 Y1S boasts a variety of features. It promises real-time image quality optimization through an advanced Gamma Engine feature, which intelligently adjusts the visuals to offer clear content with vibrant colors and dynamic contrast. The smart TV is equipped with an HD display that supports HDR10.

The yet-to-be-launched OnePlus TV 40 Y1S is fitted with 20W speakers tuned by Dolby Audio, ensuring crisp clarity in sound. The smart TV will operate on the Android TV 11 operating system. The company also claims that users will be able to connect their OnePlus Buds or OnePlus Watch to the OnePlus TV 40 Y1S. Additionally, OnePlus TV 40 Y1S users can connect their smartphones to the TV using the OnePlus Connect 2.0, enabling a seamless connected ecosystem experience.

The OnePlus Smart TV will come with OxygenPlay 2.0, which allows users to easily access a wide range of content from both international and regional content partners on their new OnePlus TV. Users will also have direct access to over 230 live channels as part of OxygenPlay 2.0, keeping them updated with the latest news and sports updates.

In other news, OnePlus has recently launched the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite smartphone in India. The affordable smartphone starts at a price of Rs 19,999. It operates on the Android 13 operating system and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset.
